Howard McCollister, MD FACS SFASMBS

Dr. McCollister is the Director of the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery, Weight Loss Division and the primary MBSAQIP designee at that program. He has over 25 years of weight loss surgery experience and performs sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, and Lap Band. He is an experienced revisional Bariatric and Foregut surgeon. He has the perspective of not only being an experienced weight loss surgeon, but he is a highly experienced foregut surgeon as well and is well-suited to addressing gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) that might be associated with obesity, and those that occur after weight loss surgery.
