Heather Jefford, APRN DNP CNS

I began my career in medicine as a registered nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner. I received her undergraduate degree from Bradley University and my graduate and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.

I chose surgery because of a general surgery clinical rotation in school where I found I enjoyed the complexity and variety of the patients. I work with bariatric, general and surgical oncology patients with liver and pancreatic cancer.
