Hamid Pourshojae, DO FACS FACOS FASMBS

Dr. Hamid R. Pourshojae is a board certified general surgeon who completed his residency at St. Johns Episcopal Hospital in New York. A native of the Washington metropolitan area, Dr. Pourshojae has special interest and expertise in laparoscopic and robotic bariatric and gastrointensional surgeries. Prior to joining the Inova Bariatric Surgery group, Dr. Pourshojae led a successful private surgical practice where he performed numerous laparoscopic and robotic procedures including bariatric, gastric, small bowel surgery, and colon surgery along with complex and robotic and laparoscopic hernia repair.
