Gina Jackson, BSN RN

Gina Jackson is a Registered Nurse and the Bariatric Manager at BayCare’s Mease Dunedin and Mease Countryside Hospital. Gina provides education, compassion, guidance, and encouragement to patients throughout their weight loss journey. She is also responsible for coordinating support groups, collaborating with physicians, and leading the multi-disciplinary team. To ensure the advancement of safe, high-quality care for our bariatric surgical patients, Gina is also responsible for maintaining the hospital’s national accreditation through MBSAQIP (Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program).

Gina graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Associate of Science in Nursing and Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In addition to her ASMBS membership, Gina is a member of the Florida Nurses Association (FNA) and the American Nurses Association (ANA).
