Darrell Doucette, MD FACS FASMBS

Dr. Darrell Doucette is a board-certified surgeon and weight loss specialist at Alabama Surgical Associates in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Doucette specializes in bariatric surgery, minimally invasive weight loss procedures, and acid reflux treatment. He is experienced in a wide range of weight loss procedures, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, non-surgical endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), gastric balloon, and revision procedures. Dr. Doucette is passionate about helping patients live healthier, more active lives.

Dr. Doucette received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts, where he also went on to complete a residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Doucette is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Certified Bariatric Endoscopist, and is a Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
