I am a clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of hospital & medical clinic based practice in multidisciplinary health care in Phoenix, Arizona. My training includes clinical neuropsychology specialization, medical psychology support, and child & family health optimization. I enjoy working with a wide range of specialists including surgeons, neurologists, metabolic dieticians, neurogenetics, psychiatry, physical therapists, speech therapists, and others. I have always worked within multidisciplinary settings that strive to optimize health care, patient education, and patient adherence in complex and chronic illness. I have particular interests in empowering patients to take control of their health, medical team consultation, medical fears and trauma, pre-surgical evaluation and support, helping patients and families adapt to chronic or complex medical conditions, and optimizing patient quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, travelling, and volunteering with a Phoenix organization that brings art experiences to children who have experienced trauma.
