Crystal N. Johnson-Mann, MD, MPH, FACS, FASMBS is an assistant professor in the division of gastrointestinal surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Johnson-Mann obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She matriculated through medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina and completed her residency in general surgery at the same institution. She completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Virginia Health System and is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Her clinical and research interests include bariatric surgery, anti-reflux surgery, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and equity in healthcare access, delivery, and outcomes.
She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Association for Women Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, National Medical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of Black Academic Surgeons.
