I am originally from the New York metropolitan area. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and received my medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. I did a general surgery residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on California's Central Coast and then went on to complete a fellowship in minimally invasive GI and bariatric surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, New York. I began my practice at Lompoc Health in Santa Barbara County in 2019. I currently serve as Director of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Obesity Medicine, and Robotic Surgery. Lompoc Valley Medical Center is a Comprehensive Center for Bariatric Surgery with Obesity Medicine Qualifications and is also recognized as a Center of Excellence for Robotic Surgery by the SRC. I have a strong passion for bariatric surgery, anti-reflux procedures, hernia repair, and colon surgery.
