I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and returned there for Medical School when my parents needed more care. I watched my family battle obesity and diabetes my while life. When I was in surgical residency I realized I had to seize the opportunity to specialize in Bariatric Surgery to help battle the metabolic disease that claimed multiple family members, including my mom. I now practice in Phoenix, AZ and I hope I have made her proud.
