Catherine Beck, MD FASMBS

Catherine Beck, MD is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive gastrointestinal, bariatric, hernia, and anti-reflux surgery. Dr. Beck's undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, graduating with honors. She earned her medical doctorate at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After medical school she completed a surgical residency in general and trauma surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Beck then completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive, and Bariatric surgery at the University of California - San Diego. During fellowship, she studied advanced techniques in laparoscopic and robotic esophageal, anti-reflux, hernia and bariatric surgery. Dr. Beck has contributed to a number of research studies that were published in a variety of medical journals, and made multiple presentations at the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery national meetings. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
