Started performing laparoscopic gastric bypass Roux en Y procedures in 1998 and has continued to perfect minimally invasive bariatric and general surgical procedures. Participated in research with laparoscopic procedures and now with endoscopic procedures including intragastric balloons and endoscopic suturing techniques to help patients lose weight in combination with nutrition and exercise plans. Dr. Carson David Liu continues to practice as a solo practitioner and is affiliated with Centers of Excellence at Cedars-Sinai and Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital.
