SURGICAL ACTIVITY
Surgical experience in more than 4,000 surgeries with General anesthesia in all fields of the Specialty: Scheduled and Emergency Surgery in General and Digestive Diseases (Abdominal Wall, esophagus and stomach, Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery, Oncological Surgery and Peritoneal carcinomatosis and Colorectal Surgery).
Since 20 years ago, almost exclusively dedicated to the Endocrine and Obesity Surgery with surgical experience in more than 1,500 Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery procedures, more than 1,000 thyroidectomies, 150 parathyroidectomies and 80 laparoscopic adrenalectomies.

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY
Author of more than 30 scientific original articles in national and international journals of surgery and especially about Obesity Surgery.
Author of more than 80 papers , oral presentations and lectures in national and international Meetings of Surgery and Obesity Surgery.
Visiting Doctor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, Ohio, USA) in 1995.
Grants from the International Menéndez Pelayo University, the Spanish Association of Surgeons and the Spanish Society of Digestive Pathology for training in foreign hospitals and lectures presented in International Surgical Meetings.
Winner of the 1995 Valencia Society of Surgery Award for the best originalpublication on clinical research, the National Award of the Spanish Association of Surgeons for the best original publication in 1998, and the Award of the Valencia Society of Surgery for the best Research publication in January of 1998.
Visiting Professor at the BARIATRIC and Metabolic Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Weston (Florida), Prof. Raul Rosenthal (President of ASBMs) during 2015.
