Dr. Mirza received his advanced fellowship training in laparo-endoscopic and laparoscopic Bariatric surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mirza has been in practice for more than 15 years. He is board certified and a member of the (ASMBS) American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He served as the director of minimally invasive surgery and surgical endoscopy at Saint Elizabeth health center in Ohio, Bariatric program medical director at First surgical Hospital and the president and medical director of Bariatric Care Centers, PA in Houston, Texas. Dr. Mirza specializes in laparoscopic and weight loss surgery, including laparoscopic Gastric Bypass /RNY, and sleeve gastrectomy, as well as bariatric revisional surgery.
