After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2008 at Southern Adventist University, Dr. Forrest attended medical school at Loma Linda University on an Air Force scholarship, graduating in 2013. Following medical school, he served five years on active duty practicing medicine in aviation units with multiple deployments to Europe and the Pacific. From 2018-2023, he completed general surgery residency at the University of Missouri - Kansas City where he won multiple awards for his clinical care and leadership, as well as produced research presented at state and national conferences. Now as a practicing surgeon he takes pride in the comprehensive perioperative care of his patients, a value instilled in him during training. Throughout residency and now in active clinical practice he has also continued service as an officer in the Air National Guard. He enjoys general aviation as a hobby and is one of a very few physicians to have flown in a B-2. Dr. Forrest loves talking with patients about their passions, learning about their goals, and teaming up with them to make their dreams become reality.
