Aram Jawed, MD FACS

Dr. Aram Jawed is the director for the center for weight loss at JFK University Hospital in Edison, NJ. He is an NJ Top Doc and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Hackensack Meridien Health School of Medicine. Dr. Aram Jawed is a general surgeon, board certified by American Board of Surgery, specializing in Laparoscopic Robotic Bariatric surgery. Dr. Jawed is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is certified by da Vinci® Surgical as a robotic surgeon. He does advanced laparoscopic foregut and bariatric surgery including revisional bariatric weight loss surgery and robotic revisional surgery. Dr. Jawed also specializes in interventional endoscopy, as well as cutting edge minimally invasive in office skin tightening and cosmetic procedures.
