I am board certified in General Surgery and Obesity Medicine I am a fellow of American College of Surgeons. I am also a member of American Society for Metabolic and Obesity Surgery. I completed MBBS at Aga Khan Medical College Karachi Pakistan. I completed a residency in general surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Newark in 1998. I completed a research fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Duke University in 1999 and a clinical fellowship in video endoscopic surgery at University of Washington in Seattle in 2000. I have been practising general and bariatric surgery since August 2000.
