Alaina Vidmar, MD

Alaina Vidmar, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, a Pediatric Endocrinologist, a Board-Certified Pediatric Obesity Medicine Specialist, and the Medical Director of the Obesity Medicine and Bariatric Surgery Program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Vidmar received her medical degree and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Vidmar’s main research and clinical interest is improving patient outcomes through novel multi-modal clinical approaches that combine metabolic and bariatric surgery, obesity pharmacotherapy, and behavioral interventions for youth living with severe obesity.
