Stefanie Vaimakis is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Sugeons. She is a fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She has dedicated her practice to Bariatric Surgery for the last 20 years. She started the Bariatric Centers of Excellence at Holy Name Medical Center and Englewood Hospital and was Director of Bariatric Surgery at Holy Name Medical Center for over 10 years. She was the first to perform Robotic Bariatric Surgery at Holy Name, Englewood and Hudson Regional Hospital. Dr. Vaimakis specializes not just in offering All types of Bariatric Surgery but welcomes patients from other practices in need of revisional surgery. Most importantly Dr. Vaimakis focuses on personalized concierge one on one care. Patients are seen directly with her not allied health professionals.
