About the Provider

Becca is a Registered Dietitian dedicated to helping her patients reach their individual health goals by viewing them as people first, and patients second. Her empathy and dynamic counseling style drive her ability to meet people where they are and personalize nutrition recommendations that stick. With her specialty in obesity management and bariatric surgery, she was a peer reviewer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Health Professional’s Guide to Obesity and Weight Management. She is co-director for the 2023-2025 ASMBS annual conference Nutrition sessions, after presenting on the topic of How the Psychology of Food Marketing Affects Consumer Choice at the 2022 conference. She mentors a dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group and was sought out to give multiple presentations for the BeWell corporate wellness campaign at MD Anderson in 2024. A Penn State alumna, she was honored with the 2022 Emerging Professional Alumni award and will serve on the university Board of Directors for the college of Health and Human Development starting in 2024. Becca attended Penn State University where she received her Bachelor of Science and completed her nutrition education at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. She remained there to begin her career as a dietitian for several years until moving to Houston, TX where she currently resides. Her current role is at FORM, a rapidly-growing telehealth company that pursues a medically-personalized approach to weight management through pharmaceutical, lifestyle and behavioral interventions. She spends her time counseling patients, leading group classes and support groups, and creating content for the company’s social media platforms. As a dietitian who loves the relatability of food, she understands and celebrates that everyone is different, and enjoys the unique opportunity to pair her health background with her joy of creating lasting relationships with patients. Becca’s love of food crosses over into her personal life. You can often find her in the kitchen preparing dishes to share with loved ones or recreating recipes learned from watching MasterChef, where her cat Potato is always nearby hoping to catch some snacks. Food is her love language, and she feels blessed to do what she enjoys every day for work.
