Leah Walters, RDN CDCES

Leah is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator employed by CHI St. Josephu0027s Health in Park Rapids, MN. She has worked there since 1998 and started working as bariatric director in 2004. Leah teaches and assesses patients pre-operatively and reinforces the nutrition strategies post-operatively. She continues to lead the multidisciplinary team in Park Rapids who have held the ASMBS Center of Excellence designation since 2005. Leah is a graduate of the Community Dietetics program from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and received her Certified Diabetes Educator title in 2001. She has completed the certification in Adult Weight Management course level 1 and 2 via the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
