Jacob Hopping, MD FASMBS

Dr. Hopping is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. His surgical training was completed at Saint Louis University. He is a partner with Springfield Clinic, Peoria, IL, and faculty with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He has been practicing general surgery for 8 years and is currently performing Bariatric Surgery at Carle Methodist Medical Center, where he is the director the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. He performs open, laparoscopic and robotic bariatric surgery as well as routine endoscopy and the breadth of general surgery.
