Cody Starnes, MD FACS DABS-FPMBS

Dr. Starnes is a highly trained general and bariatric surgeon. He grew up in Callisburg, Texas just west of Sherman. Dr. Starnes specializes in minimally invasive and complicated general surgery, bariatric, revisional bariatric, and anti-reflux procedures. He graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed his surgical training at UT Houston. He holds the highest laparoscopic and robotic technical scores in the history of his residency. From feeding tubes, hernia repairs including hiatal hernia repair with Nissen fundoplication, breast surgery, gallbladder and appendix removal, hemorrhoidectomies, upper endoscopies with pH monitoring, colon surgery, and various bariatric surgeries, Dr. Starnes excels a step above his competitors. He performs several types of weight loss surgeries and also undertakes revisions. Dr. Starnes is among the most experienced surgeons in North Texas currently performing foregut surgery.
