HOW IT WORKS
Review the Re-Certification Guidelines Excerpt
Within 12 months of the expiration of your certification you may:

Submit CBN Re-Certification Requirement Information
You may visit this site as often as you like within 12 months of the expiration of your certification to submit re-certification information. Each time you click “submit” you will receive an email confirmation and a snapshot of your information.

All submissions are maintained based on your CBN Certificate Number and this information must be accurate for submissions to be valid. Submissions entered under an incorrect CBN Certificate Number will not be included in your review.

Requesting Review of CBN Re-Certification Submissions
Once all re-certification information has been submitted to the ASMBS, proceed to checkout.

Upon receipt of payment, ASMBS will compile your submissions and initiate review of your request for CBN Re-Certification.

After Your CBN Re-Certification Information has been Submitted
You will receive an e-mail verifying your payment and status of the application review process .

Please allow up to 3 months for processing of your application.

Click the links below and follow the instructions provided to complete your CBN Re-Certification. ASMBS Members should be logged in before starting this process. Logged in Members will benefit by linking their submission to their user account and login will auto-populate user information within the submission for better tracking when review is initiated.

If you are unsure of your CBN number, please contact the ASMBS before entering ANY information. Failure to include your correct CBN number WILL delay your recertification.

Submissions are not reviewed until payment has been received by ASMBS. ASMBS is not responsible for loss of data or data that has been entered but not attested to; candidates must complete the “CBN Re-Certification Candidate Attestation” for entries to be submitted to ASMBS. ASMBS is not responsible for correcting inaccurate CBN Certificate Numbers; data entered under the incorrect CBN Certificate Number will require re-entry.
