The Center for Weight Loss Surgery is an independent and comprehensive ASMBS Center of Excellence Bariatric Surgical Practice with an excellent reputation. We have more than 2,000 active patients in the practice currently. The Center is located in a major metropolitan area with two different offices located within two Center of Excellence facilities where surgeries are performed, currently by one experienced bariatric surgeon. Surgeries typically performed are: Robotic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass and Revisions; Laparoscopic Duodenal Switch; Laparoscopic Revisions from AGB to Duodenal Switch; complex Revision Gastric surgeries: e.g., conversion of Proximal Gastric Bypass to Duodenal Switch, and upper Endoscopy (both diagnostic and therapeutic). The bariatric surgeon also performs body contouring operations after massive weight loss such as Lower Body Lifts, Belt Lipectomies, Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstructions after massive weight loss and other procedures.
The practice is well equipped with an Electronic Medical Record System, an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner and nursing staff. Call for the practice will be shared among the providers. Bariatric surgery call will be shared with other bariatric surgeons in both facilities.
