• acting as a resource for patient care and processes related to bariatric surgical program
• screening new patients to determine candidacy for Bariatric surgery
• participating in quality management aspects of the Bariatric surgical program as necessary
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition Services and 2-3 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient environment practicing nutritional evaluations and counseling. Dietetic Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration, licensure through the State Education Department and active membership in the American Dietetic Association are all required. Strong patient relations, ability to run support groups /open houses, and excellent oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills will be expected. Master’s Degree preferred.
