The Bariatric Surgery Training Committee just awarded 45 Certificates of Acknowledgement of Satisfactory Training in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery to those that completed their Fellowship Program in 2010 and 2011. Certificate of Acknowledgment recognizes the fellows’ successful completion of the bariatric surgery fellowship curriculum accredited by the Fellowship Council and the Core Curriculum for ASMBS Fellowship Training Guidelines.
